Traditional wooden stables all with rubber matting and high quality racehorse bedding.
Our all weather railed wax coated gallops, with 8 furlongs of looped track, is ideal for the daily work out, be it a gentle canter or a full blown gallop.
The grass gallops is used to school our jump horses over hurdles and fences.
Our large indoor arena is perfect for warming up, cooling down and schooling our horses.
Our state of the art treadmill is great for strength and conditioning as well as the rehabilitation of injured horses.
Walking is one of the best forms of exercise for horses and our five horse walker is a great way for horses to warm up before their morning gallop or warm down afterwards.
We have eight separate paddocks, whether to give horses a rest out of season or a pick of grass whilst in training.
One of the beauties about being a small yard is that we can take our racehorses on regular trips out. Racehorses can really benefit from race course gallops early in their career to experience different sights, sounds and surfaces. We sometimes take our horses for a gentle trot and paddle on Southport beach, where the Grand National hero Red Rum used to train.
In addition to the best hay, we make full use of specialist racehorse food supplements, all sourced through well established quality suppliers.
